Friends of Beechwood
Over the past 3 years the Friends of Beechwood have raised funds to help buy the following for the school:
• Mini bus (part contribution with Acorn House)
• Laptops and computer trolley
• IT Discovery Room (furniture/equipment etc)
• Walkie Talkies
• Cassette recorders
• Digital cameras
• Refurbishment of Years 5 & 6 cloakrooms
• CD players
• Shelving for the library
• Smart board
• Kiln
It’s thanks to the Friends of Beechwood Committee that events such as the
Michaelmas Bazaar, Bingo Night, Race Night, Beechwood Ball, Christmas Disco, End
of Term Disco, and Sports Day BBQ are able to take place.
In addition the Friends of Beechwood provide refreshments for the children at
sporting events, donate all profits from the sale of Phoenix Cards, and provide
support on Open Day.
We would always be delighted to see new parents getting involved with the work of the Friends, either by joining the committee or just giving some time to help out with events.
